Even shorter travel times reach Bullsbrook!
07 September 2023

Hot on the heels of our recent celebrations with Woolworths and the City of Swan to mark the start of work on the Kingsford Town Centre, our Kingsford project has another important local milestone to applaud.

This time it’s the opening of Stock Road, a 4.3km-long connector road from Great Northern Highway, allowing residents to link directly to the Tonkin Highway.

From major shopping and employment districts, to Perth Airport and the Perth CBD, Kingsford residents are even closer to wherever they need to go.

Kingsford has always been a well-connected address, but now the extension to Stock Road offers significantly shorter travel times so that residents are only:

  • 10 mins from Ellenbrook
  • 20 minutes from Midland
  • 25 minutes from Perth Airport
  • 30 minutes from Joondalup
  • 40 minutes from the Perth CBD

The new transport link also enables heavy haulage and oversize trucks to bypass the town of Bullsbrook, and it is a major win for road safety, connectivity and the economic potential of the area too.

The Stock Road extension opens up significant opportunities for commercial and industrial developments, leading to increased economic potential and job growth in and around Bullsbrook.

Residents of Kingsford at Bullsbrook may be surrounded by the natural beauty of the Perth foothills, but they’re also in one of Perth’s most promising growth corridors.

The population of Bullsbrook is predicted to increase by over 17,461 people to 23,176 by 2036, at an average annual growth rate of 9.78%. By 2051, the population of Bullsbrook is expected to hit 84,476 people.

No longer a sleepy country town, Bullsbrook is fast becoming a thriving urban community and new property hotspot in Perth’s north-east corridor.

The new Metronet rail line due to open in 2024 is only a 10 minute drive, and offers residents additional public transport options into the Perth CBD and other key destinations.

There are also plans for a road-rail intermodal terminal within Bullsbrook that’s already attracting significant investment in the area from companies.

The Northern Gateway and South Bullsbrook industrial precinct have the potential to generate 25,000 local jobs.

Of course, let’s not forget the new Kingsford Town Centre, which will also provide further job opportunities, shops and services.

There’s a lot to celebrate and a lot to look forward to!
