Okeland actively supports the associations and institutes which represent the development industry. We are also committed to supporting business associations located in the areas in which we operate.

Cameron Shephard (Executive Director) is currently the President of the West Australian branch of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) and Vice President of the UDIA National Council.

We also recognise that we have a significant responsibility to both the existing and future people who make up the communities we create. Okeland Communities takes this responsibility very seriously. We believe that to be part of a community is more than simply providing the houses to live in – it is about immersing oneself into the heart and soul of a community and ensure that we ‘giving something back’.

We actively support a number of organisations, charities and sponsorships which align with our industry; the communities within which we operate reflect the personal causes of our staff and associates.

Beyond this type of support, Okeland and our staff are also actively involved in charities and sponsorships, whether associated with the development industry or not.
